Daron L. Hansen

Daron has been competitive since he picked up a bowling ball at the age of 5! His parents and grandparents were there to encourage Daron to bowl. His early bowling role models were Earl Anthony, Mark Roth and Marshall Holman. Others were Peter Rose (the player) and George Brett. Daron has bowled with many local players over the years to attain the level of perfection he demonstrates every time he steps onto the lanes. He has six (6) Minneapolis City Championship Titles and Daron was a two (2) time winner of the Minneapolis Masters. Daron also was part of two (2) Minneapolis Team Challenge winning teams. He holds seven (7) Minnesota State Tournament Titles and eight (8) career wins in the Central Bowlers Alliance (CBA). Additionally he has won fifteen (15) Saint Paul Open Championship titles. Daron's most memorable bowling event to date was throwing his first 300 against David Langer (HOF) at the Southway Bowl Pepsi Open in the first game of match play. David had already thrown a 290 game before Daron had thrown his first ball in the 10th. Needing the first two strikes and good count just to win! Needless to say he managed his first 300! Daron's most memorable tournament victory comes in his first CBA victory against Chad Nelson. Daron has thrown, 55 - 300s and 33 - 800s with his highest being 854.
