Diane M. Marget
Diane has numerous tournament titles including the 1996 Minneapolis City Tournament Actual All Events Title shooting 1,934 along with other top ten finishes in the City Tournament. She has one LCBA titles coming in 1994 and was on the LCBA All Star Second Team three times (1989-1990, 1999-1991 and 1991-1992), a Minneapolis '600 Club' Title in 1990, Frauline Kegle Singles in 1990 and a 1995 All Events Title and a Minneapolis 600 Scratch Champion Title. She won a silver medal in the Team USA/Japan Challenge Match as bowled in the BPAA US Opens in 1994 and 1996. She did cash in both events. Diane was a member of the team that rolled the highest team game in the nation in 1995. They had a 1,252 game and she contributed a 258 game. Up to the point of her induction, Diane has competed in 12 WIBC National Tournaments and six Queens competitions. As of May 2005 she has competed in 21 National WIBC events. She has bowled in the Minnesota State events since 1980. She was elected to the St. Paul All-City 2nd Team in the 2000-2001 season. In 1996 she won a Minnesota Mixed Team Championship with Tracey Magnuson (HOF 2005). Diane has also donated her organizational expertise to the Minneapolis Women's Bowling Association (MWBA) by serving on the Board of Directors. She has held a 200+ average for the previous three seasons and has accumulated 11 700+ series with her high being 768. She has three 300 games at the time of her induction (3/12/1988, 3/5/1996, 10/24/1996) and as of May 2006 she has accumulated a total of eight of them. She was featured on 'Randy Shaver's Sports Extra' for being the second woman in the State of Minnesota to shoot three 300's.
