Duane 'Mic' F. Gutoske

His bowling interest started at the age of 12 where he was a pinsetter at Eder's Lanes in Chaska, Minnesota. Mic went on to participated in sanctioned leagues for 42 years. He has served the leagues well by being secretary for 2 leagues, one for 28 years. He has served the Minneapolis District Bowling Association as a Director for 23 years. He served as Vice President from 1991-96 and as President during the 1997-98 season. In addition, he has served on the Executive, Suspension, Re-Rating and Awards Committees. In addition to his service, Mic has won many league championships and participated in many tournaments over the years. He has bowled in the American Bowling Congress National Tournament for 12 years and the Minneapolis City Tournament for 16 years to list a few. He has two Doubles Titles with his son Curt, in the Savage Fire Department at Dan Patch Lanes. They came back to back in 1987 and 1988. His highest singles finish is 4th in 1999. His high game is 279 and high series of 716. His highest league average is 196.
