Ernest 'Ernie' F. Crossman

Ernie bowled in leagues starting in 1929 and was left-handed. He bowled in the Nesbitt League and Rutt Bros. was their sponsor. He competed in the Melody Monarch League and the Pot of Gold League. He attended the Minneapolis City Tournament for twenty-five years and the Minnesota State Tournament for twenty-five years as well. He was a member of the winning team in the Minnesota State Tournament held in Red Wing, Minnesota. He served as a Director in the Minneapolis District Bowling Association for thirteen years and Vice President for three years. He was Chairman of the BVL (Bowlers Victory Legion) and on the Minneapolis City Tournament Committee. He also worked with LeRoy Cook (HOF 1983) on the Minnesota State Senior Tournament for six years. His sanctioned high game was 288 and a 697 high series. His high average was 195.
