John M. Hommes

John has four Minneapolis City Championship Titles and Minneapolis Team Title. He has titles in Alexandria, Fargo, St. Cloud and Hibbing. He holds one St. Paul Team Challenge Title in 2003 bowling with the On Track/Custom Thumbs B team and was part of the team at Mattie's Lanes in the 13th annual Team Challenge to throw a baker 300 game on December 3, 2006. He has three St. Paul USBC Championship Titles from 2006 (Actual Team A, Handicap Team A and Team All Events A). He holds a Minnesota State Record in the 3-man Team Series with Jason Barnhouse and David Langer when they shot 2,317 in 2008. John has been selected to the Minneapolis All City Team three (3) times and the St. Paul All City Team once. John has thrown 4 - 298s, 15 - 299s, 27 - 300s and 19 - 800s with his highest being 846 and his high end of the season average is 238 with the last 20 years being over 215. His first 300 came on April 13, 1997 in the CBA at AMF Village Lane North and his first 800 came on March 17, 1994 in the New Hope Classic League.
