Joy K. Corbett

Joy started bowling in 1971. She has competed in 16 WIBC National Tournaments up to her induction and has made nine WIBC Queen's Events making the top 64 three times. As of May 2005 she has competed in 25 WIBC National Tournaments. She has been a member of seven first place team efforts. She has three Minneapolis City Tournament actual team titles, one St. Paul City Tournament Actual Team Title, One Minnesota State Mixed Title and one each in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Alexandria and St. Cloud, Minnesota. Joy has one Ladies Central Bowlers Association (LCBA) Title and made the LCBA 1st Team All Star team twice and the 2nd team twice. She was on the St. Paul All City Team 1st Team, three times, (1987-1988, 1988-1989, 1993-1994). She made the 2nd Team four times, (1986-1987, 1989-1990, 1990-1991, 1994-1995). She won the St. Paul Women's Bowling Association high average in 1987-1988 with a 197.Joy was the Minnesota State Team USA Amateur Champion three times, (1988, 1990 and 1991) finishing second in the regional competition in 1988 and 1990. In 1991 she also represented Minnesota in the Team USA National Finals in San Diego, California finishing in 22nd place. She has two 300 games (8/25/1987 and 11/1/1994) and a 752 high series. She has accumulated over 13-700+ series and has held a 200 average for many years.
