Kenneth 'Ken' Tanaka

Ken bowled in the Uptown Lanes and Aqua Bowl for 45 years. He won the Winship Award at Aqua Bowl for his congeniality and many contributions to bowling. Ken was a life member of the American Bowling Congress and a Director of the Minneapolis District Bowling Association for 24 years. He served as Vice President for 3 years and a term as President of the Association for one year. Tanaka was Chairman of the BVL Committee for 10 years and served on many other committees. He participated in the American Bowling Congress National Tournament for 12 years and represented the Minneapolis District Bowling Association as a Delegate to the National Convention for 12 years. He bowled in the Minneapolis City Tournament for 30 years and the Minnesota State Tournament for 10 years. His high game was 272 and series of 730+. His high average was 186.
